CORONATION MESSAGE. A letter of loyal greetings to Her .Majesty, Queen Elizabeth, which .is being carried throughout New Zealand by.,Girl Guides, will arrive on the West Coast to-morrow, being received at Arthur’s Pass by a Guide from Hokitika, and carried to Hokitika, where the Borough seal will be affixed the Mayor of Hokitika (Mr. G. A. Perry to-morrow evening. On Sunday, the message will be taken to Kumara, where a similar ceremony will be carried out in the afternoon, and later the message will be received at Teremakau by a Greymouth Guide, and brought on to Greymouth.

The ceremony of affixing the seal of the Borough of Greymouth will be performed by the. Mayor (Mr. W. Meldrum) at 7.30 p.m. on Monday on the Town Hall steps, when the message will be conveyed by foot. The message will be read out by the Mayor, a translation in Maori being read by Miss S. Nicholson. The escorts and carrier will then take the message to the home of the Divisional Commissioner (Mrs. Mosley), where it will remain until Wednesday afternoon, when a Greymouth Guide will take it to Ahaura. At Ahaura, a Reef ton Guide will receive the message, and a ceremony is to be held at Reefton 4n the evening. From Reefton the message will be taken to Westport and thence via Murchison and Nelson to Wellington, where it will be presented to the Governor-General (Lord Galway) on the morning of Coronation Day.
