JAPANESE APPOINTMENTS

TOKIO, April 27.

Mr. Eiji Amau, Director of the Intelligence Bureau at the Foreign Office, announced his own appointment as Minister to Switzerland, ..together with the position of chief of the Japanese Government Bureau of International Conference Affairs. His successor as spokesman of the Government will be Mr. Tatsuo Kawai, hitherto Consul-General at Shanghai.

Mr. Kuramatsu Murai, formerly Con-sul-General at Sydney, will become Minister to Siam.
