M.P. ON POLITICIANS

[PRESS ASSN.—COPYRIGHT.]

LONDON, April 27

Doctor Maloney (M.H.R. for a Melbourne seat) was characteristically outspoken in an interview with jthp “Evening News.” He says: “Politicians are just a lot of savages, and will remain so until they ensure free education for all to University standard. I will never forget my experiences in the slums of London, Dublin and Glasgow. Fortunately, things are a lot better for children now, and would be a lot better still if children had the vote. He added: “I want to die in harness. I haven’t much money, but have three suits, three pairs of boots, and a pound for every friend in distress. That’s enough.” CHARGE DISMISSED LONDON, April 27. ■ Ludwig (a German charged with possessing secret documents) was discharged. The Director of Public Prosecutions decided there was no evidence, and asked for a dismissal of the charge. He revealed that Ludwig had blueprints of an armour-piercing bullet, but the prosecution was satisfied ne was entitled to have them. S.W. AFRICA. BERLIN, April 27.
