The Press Association understands that the Duke of Windsor’s solicitors have served'a writ on Heinemann’s and Dennis, claiming damages for alleged libel, and also an injunction.

SIMPSON DIVORCE

LONDON, April 27

The “Daily Mail” states that Mrs. Simpson who obtained a decree nisi six months ago to-day is competent to apply for an order absolute imine,-, diately. Next Monday will be the first available day for such application, but no steps thereto have yet been taken.

The “Mail’s” St. Wolfgang’s correspondent understands that the Duke of Windsor will remain at Appesbach till the decree is made absolute.
