FEDERATION OF LABOUR
AIMS OF NEW BODY.
[PEB PRESS ASSOCIATION.] WELLINGTON, April 15.. The New Zealand Federation of Labour was the title approved for the proposed national organisation of the industrial labour movement when the unity conference continued to-day. The conference also agreed on the objective of the federation, which was stated as follows: —
(a) To promote the complete organisation of all workers to enable them to secure full value for their labour and the grouping of workers on the lines of class and industry. (b) Socialisation of the means of production, distribution, and exchange. (c) To affiliate with recognised Labour organisations in other countries and co-operate with them in raising the standard of life.
The conference will continue tomorrow.
