EXCURSION TO CHRISTCHURCH Cricket enthusiasts and others are being afforded a splendid opportunity to spend the week-end in Christchurch and to witness the M.C.C. v. Connections are being made from Hokitika and Reefton and intermediate stations and both trains return on Sunday. The popularity and strength of the English team should prove to be a big draw, and the initiative on the part of the local Association in providing a means for witnessing the second day’s play is to be commended.
