PALMERSTON NORTH, Marell 1. Manawatu beat Hawke’s Bay by eight wickets, in the Hawke Cup match which concluded to-day in fine weather. Hawke’s Bay, which was 84 runs behind on the first innings, made only 144 in the second, and Manawatu scored the required, runs for the loss of two wickets.
