TT is notified for general information A that the Public Service Entrance Examination, which qualifies applicants for appointment to Clerical Cadetships in the Public Service, and which was discontiued in 1932, will be reintroduced this year. The standard of the Examination will be substantially the same as that of the Intermediate Examination already used by the Education Department in connection with the award of Senior Free Places in the post-primary schools, but separate papers of a slightly higher standard mfay be set in English, Arithmetic, Latin, French, Mathematics and History. The Public Service Entrance Examination will be held in November at the same time as the intermediate Examination. Entries will close this year on MONDAY, SEPTEMBER 13, 1937.
