INFANTILE PARALYSIS
SOUTHLAND’S TWELVE PATIENTS [FEB PBESS ASSOCIATION.] INVERCARGILL, February 25. One case of infantile paralysis, a boy aged four, was admitted to the Southland Hospital to-day from the city area. He is showing definite signs of paralysis. There are now 12 patients suffering from the disease in the hospital. WAIMATE GIRL. WAIMATE. February 25. A suspected case of infantile paralysis was admitted to the Waimate Public Hospital yesterday. The patient, a girl of 13, came from Upper High Street, the same locality as the positive case on Tuesday. AT OAMARU. OAMARU, February 26. A suspected case of infantile paralysis, a girl aged three, in the town area, was admitted to the hospital, late yesterday.
