The “Daily Herald” (Labour)- says in a leading article: “The Labour success in Tasmania is a direct result of two years of steady achievement. The Tasmanian Government well deserves a place among the' successful Labour governments now flourishing in the democratic world.”
FILM CENSOR’S REPORT MELBOURNE, February 23. The. Chief Commonwealth film censor, Mr. W. Creswell O'Reilly, in his 1936 report, slates that 1,084 United States and 489 United Kingdom films were imported during the year. Criticising British-films, Mr. O’Reilly said the best British films were made in America.
