FASCIST IRELAND
GENERAL O’DUFFY’S PLAN (by CABLE —PBESS ASSN. COPYBIGHT.] (Recd. Feb. 23, 2 p.m.). LONDON, February 22. “General O’Duffy hoped if he were on the winning side in Spain, to return to Ireland with a Fascist army, and establish a new Fascist State in 26 counties,” said Mr. Macentee, addressing the Fianna Fail Convention, at Cavan. “It is therefore essential that the Fianna Fail, at the next General Election, which is almost certain before Autumn, should not merely retain all the present seats, but secure additional ones. It will be the task of the new Government to strive to win back the six Northern counties.”
