RUGBY, February 20.

An air liner piloted by Captain J., E. Stoney, a pilot of Irish Airways, Ltd completed a .flight from Dublin to. Croydon in 1 hour 25 minutes. The machine carried three .passengers, and the flight, at a rate of about 226 miles; an hour, is considered to be a record, for such a passenger-carrying air liner.

SYDNEY, February 22.

Ten aeroplanes continued the search to-day for the missing Stinson airliner, without result. The Minister for Defence (Sir Archdale Parkhill) stated that insistence on the provision of wireless outfits on passenger aeroplanes was now being considered. A decision was likely this week.' LONDON, February 22

The Cambria, the latest of the Imperial Airways flying boats, made a noteworthy round-Britain non-stop flight from Southampton, 1350 miles in 522 minutes, averaging 155 miles an hour. It had sufficient petrol left for a further four hours’ flying.
