DEAD HUSBAND’S SPIRIT LONDON, January 29. Lady Conan Doyle, who is soon to undergo a serious' operation, believes the spirit of her dead husband will be at her side while the surgeons are at work. More than a year ago Lady Doyle, w.idow of the famous novelist and spiritualist, who died in 1930, became critically ill with internal trouble. She claims that her recovery from two majbi operations she has already undergone was due to spirit intervention. Interviewed at her beautiful home in Sussex, where slid spent many years of happy married life with Sir Arthur, she said: “Sifted my beloved husband passed front this plane to another sphere he has never ceased to show us his continued care for my family and myself. “We are in Pbnstant communication with him, and we never do anything of ally importance without consulting him first and getting his advice.” During her painftil illness. Lady Doyle continued, the trouble was diagnosed by Sir Arthur through a. medium. An X-ray examination was later made, and the surgeons attending Lady Doyle agreed that the spirit, message was correct.
