The French Foreign Minister has published' in Paris a message from the British Foreign Secretary, thanking him for a statement made by M. DelLos on Saturday regarding British and Italian declaration on the Mediterranean.

Air Eden said: “It is a matter of considerable satisfaction to know tiie agreement was well received by the blench Government with which His .Majesty’s Government are in .such very close relations. I am certain the agreement will contribute, as is its object, to the maintenance of peace in a part of the world where France is in like manner interested.’’
