WEATHER FORECAST General inference: The depression which was crossing the Dominion yesterday has passed away eastwards, but a secondary depression is now located west of the North Island. Pressure is high over Eastern Australia and the western Tasman Sea. Forecast: Moderate to strong easterly to southerly winds. • Weather cloudy to overcast, with scattered rain. Seas rather rough.
