WEATHER FORECAST. General inference: A secondary depression crossed the Dominion last night, and another slight one is at present crossing the South Island. a moderate anticyclone is approaching from, the Tasman Sea. Forecast: Moderate to strong southwesterly winds, reaching gale force in places, but decreasing to-morrow. Weather cool' and changeable, with scattered showers, but later improving. Seas rather rough to rough, but decreasing.
