“SERIOUS DEVELOPMENTS”

The Shanghai correspondent of the “Manchester Guardian” says indicating that serious developments are expected in the north-west, the Chinese Foreign Office has requested representatives of foreign powers, including Japan, to instruct nationals to evacuate the provinces of Suiyuan, Ninghsia, and Tsinghai, as well as some districts under the jurisdiction of the Inner Mongolian authorities, because of military activities for the suppression of bandits.
