HAMILTON, September 11.
Before a capacity house, Blomfield and Kruse wrestled a draw at Hamilton last evening. Thirteen hundred attended and 300 were unable to gain admission.
In the fifth round Kruse threw Blomfield with winglock and headlock throws, followed by a bodj’ press, to gain a fall. Blomfield trapped his opponent with an octopus clamp in the seventh round, Kruse submitting. The bout was full of action throughout, Kruse giving a fine exhibition of clever wrestling, though Blomfield was superior in the concluding stages.
