WOMEN’S TOURNAMENT FINAL. (per press association.] , BLENHEIM, September 5. The score in the final of the Dominion women’s hockey tournament, this afternoon was Eastern Southland 5, Otago 1. Eastern thus holds the championship and K Cup for the third year in succession. A large crowd saw a fairly even game, in which Eastern’s superior combination soon placed the issue beyond doubt. Scorers for Eastern were M. White (3), H. Reid, and M. Nicol one each. Otago attacked frequently but lacked sting in the circle and failed to finish off attacking movements. SOUTHLAND V. N. OTAGO.
