The result of the first round of the Omoto Cup were: — Mrs Hannan defeated Miss Blair; Miss Deere defeated Mrs Chatfield; Mrs McKay defeated Miss Fuller; Mrs Allan Smith defeated Mrs Hogg; Miss J. Hambleton defeated Mrs Meldrum; Mrs Kitchingham won by default from Mrs Thorpy; Miss C. Tennent won by default from Miss Sheedy; Miss Quinn won by default from Miss McKnight. The second round is to be played bv July 26. The result of the Bogey match played on Thursday was: —Mrs Allan Smith 4 down; Miss N. Tennent 4 down; Mrs F. Bird, 8 down; Mis Brown 9 down.
