TEXAN’S LETTER TO HOSPITAL. A latter addressed to “The doctor who grafted a muscle on a little boy’s eye” has been received at the Royal Waterloo Hospital, London, from a man living in Houston (Texas). He writes: '“ls it possible to graft a leg on a human patient? Is there any doctor your way who would undertake it? Enclosed find dime for postage.” Mr. J. H. Teasdale, secretary of the hospital said the Texan had apparently, read of an operation in which pieces! of a boy’s thigh muscle were successfully grafted to the eyelids. * Last year, following reference to a now treatment for rheumatism at tire hospital, a Japanese woman arrived asking for this treatment. She had com© all the way from Japan for the' purpose, having read of the hospital’s work in a Japanese newspaper.
