CAMPS FOR PRISONERS

BRADFORD, May 12. Tiic experiment, of summer camps for prisoners is to be tried til Wtikefield Gaol, the famous reform prison. The men, who will be engaged on farm work, afforestation, and land reclamation, are, it is understood, to be placed on parole with a minimum of supervision. The men will be taken to a hut camp at Brotton, a few miles from Wakefield. They will grow vegetables, fell and saw trees, and clear ditches. They will leave the gaol on Monday morning and return on Friday evening. Toe If members in' Wakefield and ether West Riding towns have under- ; taken to visit the camp to run instrucitional classes.
