FIRE DAMAGE. SYDNEY, June 15. Fire at Pambula, a South Coast town, to-day, destroyed the local post office, a largo motor service station and cafe. N.Z. TOURIST’SNDEATH SYDNEY, Juno 16. The “Daily Telegraph” says that, after long planning, for his trip to England, Arthur Johns, aged 56, of Highland Park, Wellington, arrived at Sydney yesterday, with his wife and son, on the first stage of the jour'ney. He died last night in an hotel of heart failure. MURDERER’S PENITENCE SYDNEY, June 15. The execution of- Massey for the garage shooting took place this morning. Massey left a statement, for publication, expressing'his regret for the pain, • dishonour and sorrow he had brought on his wife, father and mother and for the terrible bereavement in the family of the man whom he murdered. He added: “I pray that my desperate position, and my poor reparation, may prove a warning to the youth of my age, not to neglect those things that count for Christian life and conduct.”
