General Inference: A complex series of depressions covers the Dominion while an intense anti-cyclone is approaching across the Tasman Sea. Forecast: Light to moderate and variable winds, with northerlies prevailing at first but a change to strong southerlies setting in within 24 hours,. Weather cloudy to overcast and in places misty or foggy. Rain probable with heavy falls in places, and snow on the ranges. Seas slight to moderatq but later rising.
