SHIPPING NOTES Poolta arrived on Saturday night, with cargo from Auckland. She is to sail to-morrow night for Auckland and Portland, and returns on May 21. to again load for Auckland and Portland. Totara arrived yesterday morning, with cargo, from Wellington. She is scheduled to sail to-morrow nigh!., with coal for Wellington, and returns on Saturday, to load for Gisborne. Storm’ arrived this morning from Wellington, and is to sail to-morrow with a full cargo of timber for Petone. ■Wellington and Miramar. She returns on May 19, from Miramar, to load timber for Wellington and Miramar. Hokitika is due on Wednesday from Wellington, via Westport, with cargo, and after discharge here, will proceed to Hokitika. Karepo is due to-morrow from Westport, to complete loading for Wellington. ' Rata leaves Tarakohe to-day, and Wellington to-morrow, for Greymouth direct. She is due on Wednesday evening, to load coal for. Nelson and coal and timber for Picton. Omana is due Wednesday to load timber for Melbourne and Adelaide. James Cook is due about Monday next from Wanganui, to load timber for Sydney and Newcastle. Ths Kiwitea is due on May 18 from Auckland, to load for Wellington. Kaimai is due on May 19, from Westport, to complete loading for Miramar.
