APRIL RETURNS
GREYMOUTH RAINFALL. Rain fell at Greymouth on 14 days during the month of April, the total fall being 727 points, and the maximum fall 127 points, on April 22. in April last year, the total fall was 759 points, on 13 days, rhe maximum fall for any one day being 214 points. CUSTOMS. Collections at the" Customshouse, Greymouth, during the month of April, totalled £9445/2/3, as compared with £9746/6/2, in the corresponding month of last year. Included in the total were Customs duties £3478/14/10 (£3310/13/3), and sales tax £2002/5/6 (£lBB7/16/10). VITAL STATISTICS. The vital statistics .for Greymouth for the month of April, with the figures for April last year, shown in parentheses, were: Births 11 (IT), deaths 9 (8), marriage licenses issued 15 (13), marriages conducted by Registrar 3 (2).
