POLICE OPPOSE PROCESSION

(Recd. April 17, 3 p.m.). WARSAW, April 16. Day-long rioting at Lwow originated in the funeral of two unemployed men, killed during the rioting on Tuesday. The police ordered their burial in the central cemetery, near the spot where they were shot, in order to prevent a demonstration. The workers wanted the interment to take place in a cemetery two and a-half miles away, thus enabling a procession through the city. Ten thousand turned out, heading tor the distant cemetery. The police opposed them, and fired, killing a woman. The infuriated crowd covered ..he body. Twelve dead were found in the streets, and eight died in hospital. It is believed that the casualties are greater, and include at least 200 wounded. A national broadcast blames the Communists for planning the demonstration and arming the workers.
