WEATHER FORECAST. General inference: A rather intense westerly depression has been crossing the Dominion but an anti-cyclone is advancing over the Tasman Sea. Forecast: Strong west to south-west winds but later decreasing. Weather cool, changeable and showery, but improving. Seas rather rough to ■rough.
