Wynne (Victoria) beat Miss T. Coyne (New South Wales) 1/6, 7/5, 7/5. Miss J. Hartigan (New South Wales) beat Miss Blick (Victoria) 7/5, 6/3. Mixed doubles: Kay and Miss Blick beat Moon and Miss Hartigan 7/5, 6/2. Hopman and Mrs Hopman beat Schwartz and Miss Griffiths 4/6, 6/0. 6/2. Doubles: Crawford and McGrath beat Hopman and Schwartz 6/4, 7/5, 5/7, 6/2. Turnbull and Quist beat Kay and Hone 6/4, 6/4, 6/4. COAST TOURNAMENT OFF. Because there were only 35 entries received for the West Coast tennis championships, to have been held at Westport, the tournament has been abandoned. Entries from Westport totalled 21, from Greymouth, six; from Hokitika, five; and from Granity, three. The annual meeting of the West Coast Lawn Tennis Association will be held at Westport on Wedensday, when the present position and the question of holding a tourney at Easter, will be discussed 1 .
