AUSTRALIAN RECORD. [by CARLE PRESS ASSN. COPYRIGHT.] SYDNEY, December 12. A Commonwealth record of 31Jd per lb. for six bales of greasy merino wool from Yass was achieved at the wool sales to-day. A total of 13,249 bales was offered, 11,958 being sold, also 843 bales privately. A hardening tendency noted on the previous day, continued, prices generally showing a recovery from the decline reported at the opening of the present series.
