SWIMMING.
SAN FRANCISCO, November 16
The famous New Zealand sectional swimming champion, Nancy ORls (Dunedin), arriving here, announced a decision permanently to reside in California, and participate in American swimming contests. Buster Olds, who is her brother, is foremost among American swimmers, competing under the San Francisco Olympic Club colours. He met Nancy upon arrival from Wellington. San Francisco sportsmen extended a welcome, and are discussing Nancy’s possibility in the Olympic Games participation. Buster has attained lame in conquering San Francisco’s Golden Gate swirling currents.
