November 9, 11 a.m.) LONDON, November 8. t “They look a healthy athletic team,”' said the Prince of Wales to Mr Meredith, when he received the All Blacks at York Hou,se. Mr Meredith introduced the players, with* whom the Prince of Wales chatted for a half-hour. He talked especially to Mr Meredith and Manchester for ten minutes, and several minutes with Best and Oliver, the latter of whom Meredith introduced, as the vice-captain previously in England, with Lowry’s team. The Prince of Wales said to Page: “You are no stranger to Britain. I hear you were at Sandhurst.” The Prince sympathised with players who were injured, and hoped the team were enjoying the visit.The All Blacks stated, after the reception, that’the’Friffc'e" speedily made all feel at home." The reception was delightfully informal.’ • ■ One added: It is easy to understand why His is so popular.
