[by CABLE —PRESS ASSN. —COPYRIGHT.]
SYDNEY, September 29.
The barrow-pusher, Darwin, completed the last stage of his journey from Melbourne to Sydney early this morning, doing so on the schedule. He now becomes entitled to his wager. \ The police would not allow Darwin to make his entry into the city from the suburb of Erskineville, where he originally stopped. He there entered the hospital with his poisoned leg. The police stipulated that the last stage should be carried out before the peak of traffic hours, which requirement was complied with to-day.
