SHIPPING NOTES.
Kartigi, her unloading of part of her cargo having given her ample clearance. sailed this morning for Miramar. Wellington. Auckland and Portland. Totara left last night for New Plymouth.
Kaitoa departed last evening with timber for Petone. After discharge she loads again at Greymouth for the same trip. -
Titoki leaves Wellington to-morrow for Westport and Greymouth, with general cargo. She is due here Thursday evening, and after discharge, she loads coal for Nelson and Tarakohe.
Karepo was ready for sea this morning, but the bar was too rough at high tide. She sails to-morrow morning, if conditions are favourable, for Melbourne and Adelaide. Kiwitea left Gisborne at three o’clock this morning for Greymouth. 10 load for Auckland and Portland. Kaimai is due Friday to load for Wellington and Miramar. She is scheduled to leave New Plymouth at 11 o’clock to-morrow morning. Gabriella is due about August 22 to load timber for Melbourne. Port Waikato is dfie August 23 to load a full cargo of timber for Sydnev and Newcastle. Abel Tasman will sail for Brisbane to-morrow morning, jveather permitting. James Cook is scheduled to depart for Australian ports at the week-end. TASMAN CROSSING. SYDNEY. August 12. The Mariposa broke the record for the Tasman Sea crossing by IB hours. OTHER PORTS.
