fOUB OWN COKBESPONDENT.] REEFTON, August 12. Reefton experienced a glorious week-end,' mild temperatures with beautiful warm sunshine. The police at Reefton received word on Sunday that fears were entertained for the safety of a man named Hill, who is> employed at . a Sluicing claim in the Blackwater Creek Cariboo area. Sergt. Hodgins and Constable Wilson visited the locality and made a search, but did not discover any trace of tlie missing man who had not been seen for some days. On Sunday, there were, no League football matches at Reefton, owing to illness among players. In a senior game of Rugby, a friendly match, Blackspoint defeated Waratah. The scores were 12—9.
