At Bonneville Salt Flats, Utah, John Cobb, a British racing motorist covered 152.11 miles in an hour while driving on >the Salt Flats to-day. He is claiming a world record, and also world record marks for 154.46 miles an hour for 50 kilometres; 153.13 miles an hour for 100 kilometres; 153.24 miles per hour for 200 kilometres; 150.60 miles per hour for 50 miles; and 152.95 miles per hour for 100 miles.
