Henri Regnier, in an article, writes: The franc, based on a gold-guaran-teed imposing coverage is sound, currency, on which Britain and America should align their currencies. They should not expect from France new impossible devaluation. M. Laval’s measures, under the Plenary powers, are not likely to be announced before the end of the month, when the Deputies have departed on their holidays.
