GREY DEFENCE CLUB Owing to the lateness of -the season and the unpleasant weather prevailing, only a small muster of members turned out for the 4th and sth competitions for Patron (E. R. Moss) trophies. The following were the scores: Conditions, 4th competition-, 11 shots at 300 yds., 10 at 500 yds. sth competition, 11 shots at 500 yds., 10 shots at 600 yards. 4th COMPETITION

S. Davy and S. Sharman still to shoot. With only the final competition for the Patron’s trophies to go the totals are as follow: — Championship: J. Prendergast 1134, C. Richardson 1126, T. Garth 1124. Handicap Championship: J. Prendergast 1147, T. Garth 1140, C. Richard-, son 1139, S. Davy and M. Garth 1134. RUNANGA MINIATURE CLUB. The Runanga Miniature Rifle Club held the final shoot for the Bennington Trophy. The following were the principal scorers: —

G. Craig and J. King tied with an aggregate score of 100. In the shootoff, G. Craig, with a score of 47, won the trophy. The Club also held a trophy shoot yesterday. The following were the best scores: —

In lhe shoot-off, D. Williams, with a score of 49, won the trophy.
