INTERNATIONAL CONCESSIONS
WINDING-UP PETITION.
[PEE PBESS ASSOCIATION.]
AUCKLAND, May 29.
The petition for the winding up of International Concessions, Limited, b». the Court, or under the supervision of the Court, was further contested today before Mr. Justice Fair in the Supreme Court. The petitioners, were G. A. Hart, A. A. Church, S. W. R. Powell, and Mrs. O. ,M> Zucker, all of Wellington, who, in their petition, outlined the activities of the company and asked for an investigation of certain transactions.
The petition showed that International Concessions had been interested in four subsidiary companies, and that its agent had purchased a controlling interest in a lottery organisation .in the Free City of Danzig. Owing to the report last October of the Commission of Inquiry into company promotion methods, International Concessions had entered into a contract to sell its Danzig concession to an Aus,tralian company.
After hearing lengthy legal argument, the Judge reserved his decision.
