COALITION CONFERENCE [PEB PRESS ASSOCIATION.] WELLINGTON, May 29. It is officially announced that at a meeting of the Reform and United political organisations in Wellington this afternoon, it was unanimously resolved; "That this meeting is o£ the opinion that tjie present Party differences should be completely obliterated, and that the Government should go to the country as a National Government pledged to support a common policy.” The committee further resolved to form itself into a committee for the purpose of achieving this object. PLAN OF CAMPAIGN.
WELLINGTON, May 29.
Plans for presentation of the Government’s case at the general election were formulated at a largely-attended meeting of members of the Government, held in offices of the National Political Federation to-day. The discussion was largely devoted to a plan of campaign. Details were drawn up in connection with a platform-cam-paign to be undertaken almost immediately. Reports were received on joint meetings of both parties at various centres, and it was stated enthusiastic support had been accorded the National organisation. In connection with the selection of candidates, emphasis was laid on the value of cooperation of district committees representing both parties.
