HOKITIKA, May 27

The funeral of the . late George Davidson on Saturday, was attended by a large number of friends from all parts of the district, including representatives from local bodies, particularly the AVestland Hospital Board. Fire Brigade, and Borough Council. A special car was employed in carrying the large number of wreaths and floral tributes. Piper D. Cullen, of Runanga. preceded the procession, playing a lament, and the Rev. (1. A. Naylor conducted the funeral service at the Presbyterian Church and at the graveside.
