MAN STABBED
- CAFE ROW SEQUEL. (by CABLE —PBESS ASSN. —COPYBIGHT.,] (Recd. May 8, 8 a.m.). MELBOURNE, May 7. Following an altercation in a cafe at. Warrnambool, John Gibson was stabbed in the back. His condition is critical. Robert Mclnnes, 27, a prominent cross-country jockey,, had a deep gash in the throat. The police say that Gibson, who walked into the cafe with a woman, was stabbed from behind. Mclnnes later was found in the backyard, with his throat cut.
