KUMARA NOTES
[our OWN CORRESX’ON’DENT.] As the result of an axe slipping, whilst engaged, cutting a piece ot weed on Wednesday afternoon. Mrs B. Hunt, of the Beach Road, practically severed one of her big toes. She was removed to the Westland Hospital for treatment.
While skating at Kumara last evening. a. young man. Philip Henharn, fell and broke his right wrist. Ho was taken to the Greymouth Hospital for an X-ray examination.
