JEAN BATTEN. [by CABLE —PRESS ASSN. —COPYRIGHT.] RUGBY. April 18. Jean Batten arrived at Jodhpur at 6.30 this evening (local time). She hopes to reach England in time for the Jubilee celebrations on May 6 in which case she will be the holder ol records for outward an homeward flights between England and Australia. FEILDING ’DROME FEILDING, April 18. The Defence Department has arranged to expend a substantial sum in making Feilding Aero Club’s aerodrome at Taonui ,two miles from Feilding. The work is expected to absorb the whole of the local relief workers for several months.
