GOLD MADE BY “Z” RAYS

FAITH IN CONVICTED ENGINEER. PARIS, March 2. M. Albert Bonn, an expert, chemist, who works for the Paris Law Courts, has issued a statement maintaining that the Polish engineer, Dunikowski, known in France as “The Goldmaker,” has invented a genuine process by which he can extract from oriferous earth over 100 times more gold than that, obtained by the usual mining methods.

Maitre Jean Charles Legrand, the Paris lawyer, has remained convinced that his client Dunikowski really “made gold,” even after he was sentenced in 1932 to two years’ imprisonment.

Recently (he lawyer went down to San Remo, where Dunikowski now lives, and requested M. Bunn to make exhaustive tests on the “alchemist’s” complicated ■ apparatus. The tests were carried out for the most part in the engineer’s kitchen. After treating the oriferous earth with Dunikowski’s secret. “Z” rays, M. Bonn took his samples back to his Paris laboratory for further analysis.. He now states that he himself made the tests without Dunikowski’s interfei ence.

“In these circumstances.” he adds, “t can affirm categorically that fraud was out of the question.” He gives the results as follow: —

First Test:—Gold obtained per metric ton from earth not treated with Z-rays—2.B grammes. Yield from the same earth treated with Z-rays—--109 grammes per ton.

Second Test. —Yield from earth not treated by X-rays—lo. 3 . grammes per ton. Yield from earth treated by Zrays—s2s grammes per ton. Third Test:—Yield from untreated earth 11 grammes per ton. Yield from same earth treated with Z-rays - 859 grammes per ton. On learning the results Maitre Legrand immediately took train to San Remo so as to help his client start "gold making” in earnest.
