ROME, March 30.

Despite the Abyssinian statement of March 29, Italian official circles deny that the negotiations between the two Governments have ended. Italy is still desirous of settling the dispute over the frontiex - by direct discussions. The Cabinet has established a general staff for air organisation in Italian East Africa.

BRITISH PRECAUTIONS.

ADEN, March 30.

In British Somaliland the officials’ leave has been cancelled. This is a precautionary measure in view of the Italo-Abyssinian situation., It is reported that thousands of cases of munitions are destined fox' Abyssinia and ai-e held by Djibouti.
