These, with the exception of the cross-country iun ' for boys, will be run off on Monday, the cross-country event being decided later in the yeatr. Conditions were fairly favourable for athletics, and several new records were established. In the senior girls’ ’championship, M. Cornish has a comfortable lead, and L. Bruhn leads in the junior girls’ championship, ip both of which events remain to be decided. H. Gilmore has a good lead in the junior boys’ championship, but a close finish is in prospect in the senior hoys championship, F. Denton and C. Hector being level with 13 points each, with three events to go. E.
