[PER PRIBB ASSOCIATION'.] TEACHER ACQUITTED. BLENHEIM, March 29. At the Supreme Court to-day the second trial of George Walker, formerly the schoolmaster of Havelock, on twelve charges of indecency, was concluded this afternoon. _ The jury returned a verdict of not guilty. Tlie prisoner was remanded till the next sessions on three other counts, which have not yet been commenced.
WHARW DISPUTE ENDED. AUCKLAND. March 29. The dispute between the Waterside Workers' Union and the Union Steam Ship Company, which had lasted for three days, ended to-day. The members of the Waterside Workers’ Union answered a call for labour for the steamer Wingatui and the motor ship Hauraki without making a further demand for the sorters to be employed ;in the loading of the vessels and m consequence, cargo work- was carried out on both vessels throughout the day. . TT . ~ Owing to the delay, the Haura-xis departure for Wellington has been postponed until noon to-morrow, fhe Wingatui’s departure for southern ports has been postponed until Monday. '
