LAKE BRUNNER SPORTS

ANNUAL MEETING NEXT MONTH

An attractive programme has been framed by the Lake Brunner Athletic Club, for its annual meeting, to take place at Te Kinga, on Easter Saturday, April 20. The big chop, a 14-in. underhand, will carry a first prize of £2O; the 13-in. underhand will be worth £lO, and a 12-in, upright chop will carry £l5. There should not be any lack of axemen in competition for these prizes. , Other events on the programme include footraces, and Highland dancing. Nominations close on Saturday, April 13. A grand ball will be held in the Te Kinga Hall on the evening of the sports.
