Grant, R. Grant, Constantine, Martindale, Hylton, Moodie and Fuller have not yet batted. The English team is: Wyatt, Holmes, Townsend, Hammond, Hendren, Ames, Paine, Smith, Iddon, Farnes, Hollies. The weather was fine. Grant won the toss. After Barrow’s early dismissal, Headley and Christiani batted cautiously, blit after the latter went out, the scoring became more rapid. Wyatt tried every bowling combination. Headley’s innings was a mixture of brilliance and caution. , He frequently found the boundary in spite of the brilliant English fielding.
